Receptionist (Part-Time)

No Borders is a leading immigration/law firm with over 20 years of successful presence and experience in the industry. Located in Brisbane, with offices in Sydney CBD, Adelaide and Cairns, we are a rapidly growing firm. Our culture revolves around a vibrant, dynamic, solution driven and customer oriented atmosphere. Due to continual growth, there is an exciting opportunity to welcome a new part-time Receptionist into our unique and multicultural firm.

This position is to work between the hours of 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday (some flexibility with start/finish times will be considered), in our Brisbane office on Park Road at Milton.

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist who enjoys meeting and working with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures and who prioritises the highest level of client service.

Main duties will include:


• Welcome visitors to the office ensuring they are looked after as soon as possible

• Answer, screen and direct calls from new and existing clients

• Ensure office communications are up to date at all time, including staff movements and daily visitors

• Manage meeting room bookings including set up, organising any catering and tidy up

• Process morning and afternoon mail including pick up and delivery to mail processing centre

• Monitor and maintain office equipment, stationery, business cards and toners

• Regularly, tidy and maintain the reception and kitchen area

• Undertake administration duties such as recording and archiving files, recording mail in and posting mail out, ordering office supplies, preparing policy folders for new employees, making cash deposits at the bank, and taking eftpos payment from clients.

The successful candidate must possess the following:

• Unwavering commitment to providing exceptional client service

• 3 plus years proven experience as a Receptionist (in a professional environment desirable)

• Professional personal presentation

• Flexibility, adaptability and resilience to manage changing work requirements and varying volumes of work

• Reliable, consistent and highly organised

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to deliver messages in ‘plain English’ and in a clear manner

• The ability to speak a second language is desirable but not essential
