Position: McDonald’s Store Manager /Retail Store Manager

Salary: $54,000-$65,000

Location: Green Fields 5107

Full-time position

An experienced Retail Store Manager is required for a McDonalds restaurant in Green Fields SA. The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for organising and controlling the operations of the establishment.

Tasks and Duties include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.  

• At various times during a typical workday, supervise food preparation, customer service interactions, and any resolve any personnel issues.

• Responsible for planning, scheduling, and ordering food products and other needed supplies.

• Conducting oversight and analysis of ordering, hiring and scheduling decision making.

• Fast food managers also must seek and interview new applicants to fill positions that frequently experience high job turnover.

• The manager must also have strong working knowledge of their store to help ensure efficiency and execution.

• Schedule employee shifts and administer payroll.

• May develop business plans, marketing plans, or manage restaurant finances.

• Oversee preparation of food to make sure it meets quality and health standards.

• Hire, train, and supervise staff to correctly prepare food and provide customer service.

• Organise stock and equipment, and oversee building maintenance, cleanliness and security

• Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained and handle customer complaints and queries

• Implement branded promotional campaigns from head office, including the handling of point-of-sale promotional materials, or devise your own promotional campaigns

• Prepare reports and other performance analysis documentation

• Maintaining financial transactions and undertaking budgeting for the establishment

• Ensure all occupational health and safety regulations are adhered to by all members of staff

Required:

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma OR 5 years of relevant experience

• Previous proven managerial experience

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong communication skills, tact and diplomacy

• The ability to lead and motivate teams and influence people

• Self-motivation and ambition

• Commercial awareness

• Enthusiasm and the ability to learn quickly

• Good organisational skills

• Energy and stamina, as well as resilience

• A results-driven approach to work

• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
